UV Excimer MDF

The UV Excimer MDF refers to the use of excimer curing technology on the surface of the plate, which has nothing to do with the type of substrate. It is the treatment technology of the surface effect of the plate. The UV Excimer MDF technology was pioneered by the German company Lockwright, and currently the countries with the technology are mainly European and Japanese companies.

The principle is that the acrylic double bond in the UV coating formulation can generate free radicals (without photoinitiator) after absorbing 172 nm UV light. At the same time, the penetration depth of 172 nm UV is only 100 to 500 nm, so only a very thin layer of the coating is cured. The polymerization and crosslinking of this thin layer will shrink to form an unsmooth surface. And floating on the underlayer of uncured liquid, to achieve a matte surface effect, this is the principle of excimer curing.

Comparison with UV and PET

At present, there are three main production processes of skin sensing board in the plate industry: flat paste line, film pressing line and excimer skin sensing.

With flat paste line to do dumb plate is first of all to the workpiece surface for double-sided dust removal treatment, to prevent the finished product surface will have raised dust particles, and then preheating treatment of the plate, to reduce the PUR adhesive coated to the surface of the plate when the temperature difference between the plate and the plate, after the plate preheating is completed for PUR adhesive coating and adhesive scraping smooth,

At the same time, the PUR adhesive heat preservation treatment is carried out, and then the sheet or roll PET is pasted on the plate, entering the four-roll rolling machine for pressing and pasting. Finally, according to the technological requirements, the discharge is completed through the procedures such as miter cutting, trimming and film coating protection.

To do the film line dumb board is the first board dust removal, and then the board surface rolling coated with a layer of UV paint into the molding machine. The pressure wheel of the molding machine will press the PVC skin sensitive film on the UV paint on the board. While pressing, it can also smooth the paint surface with the film and UV lamp for surface curing.

Then, the PVC skin sensitive film attached to the lacquer surface will be taken away by the film roller at the outlet of the molding machine, so that only UV paint coating is left on the board, and then it will be fully cured by the double lamp or three lamp UV dryer. Finally, the protective film is covered and the material is cut.

Step 1: Clean the substrate, apply primer, UV drying cure

Step 2:the base material after drying and curing is frosted, dusted and coated with matte finish

Step 3: The substrate coated with matte finish is first irradiated by LED precure and then treated by excimer lamp for matte treatment

Step 4:the substrate after matte treatment for UV drying and curing, that is, the matte luminosity of 0.5-2 excimer skin sensitive decorative panel
